New year, new times...

Well, I know it has been over 5 months since my last posting so let's see if I can remember everything that has gone on.
I started my senior year of college and had class every day, all day. Yes, it was hard to leave Talon after I got the whole summer with him, but it was good to get away for a bit. Hutch and I moved out of his parent's house and into a house still in Archer. We love it in the country and couldn't bring ourselves to living in Rexburg. The lady we are renting from is a snowbird so she lives in California 9 months out of the year and rents out her house while she is gone. So we are now looking for other places to live as of now so we can move out after I graduate. Wow, graduate. It feels so good to say that word and know that it is just 11 weeks away from happening. We got to go to my parents house the week before Christmas and spend time with them which was a nice vacation. Then we stayed here for Christmas and all that jazz. So, now we are into the winter semester and so far it is going good. Talon goes to the babysitter, who by the way has a little girl 4 months older than Talon so he loves playing with them. We have school MWF from 9-3 and get to spend the rest of the day doing homework at home.
Hutch has started into his science classes and absolutely loves them. He is taking a human anatomy class that he is acing from the get-go. He is also taking nutrition, math (which he is also doing amazing at) and New Testament classes. I am taking a Spanish literature, motivation & emotion Psychology, Editing, group dynamics, and a New Testament class as well. So we have our hands full along with a 9-month-old who is starting to pull himself up and walk along things. Life is definitely never dull.
Talon is well, Talon. He is such a bright little man and he picks up on things very quickly. In fact the other night we taught him to pick food up and put it in his mouth while we were at Wingers. Now he does it with all of the food we put in front of him. And he is such a goofy kid. He loves hats. If he sees a hat, or something that looks like he can put it on his head, he will put it on. You will hardly ever see him without a hat on. And he has these faces. I can't describe them, but every time he does them (which is often) I bust a gut. He always aims for laughter. I think he is going to be the class clown when he grows up. He is never onry, only during bedtime or when it's time to eat. He truly is a blessing in our hectic lives.
So, not much is going on. We try to make the best out of the bad days and make the good ones last longer. And I definitely can't forget my family and friends. I can honestly say that my life is blessed by the wonderful friends I have. And my family I know I couldn't do without. On days where I feel like I'm pregnant again because I'm crying, my mom is always there to make things better. I just wish she lived closer.
In conclusion, love to all of you and remember: Be who you want to be and be the best at it.
